Barts Life Sciences is Barts Health NHS Trust’s and Queen Mary University of London’s programme for using research, innovation and technologies to transform health and care services. This covers a broad range of activities from discovery science, product development and testing, and the application of new technology. Life sciences in Whitechapel is firmly based on the principles of partnership and collaboration, with patients, a large number of highly engaged primary care providers, a wide range of commercial and other academic partners, local government and the local community. These partnerships will be founded on a common ambition and desire to achieve profound health, economic and social benefit for the people of east London, the UK, and internationally.

This role is for a talented innovation manager with experience in managing and delivering innovation within life sciences. Post-holders will have an interest in life sciences, in particular the use of informatics and necessary governance procedures to support digital innovation and research, within an NHS setting. This role requires an individual with excellent communication, management, strong planning and established leadership skills to drive programmes, projects and products forward and facilitate collaborations in a highly complex environment.
